Street Art in Little Tokyo
I was in Little Tokyo, walking back to my car today, when I was stopped by this image. I had to take a picture…
Table of Brand Element Terms
Thought this was pretty interesting…

The Inspirational Celina Rei in the Los Angeles Times
How wild is that? Yes, she is definitely above the fold, and great picture too! She looks so cute! I am very proud (and so very jelly). The gist of the article dealt with the issue of women making a name for themselves in a male dominated career. I don’t think I’m a hardcore feminist or anything, but I do love seeing women making career moves in my life. So I guess besides being an awesome tennis player, sports junkie, clothes lover, Hello Kitty fiend, etc etc… my friend Celina Rei is my inspiration too. I could only hope that one day (hopefully soon) someone will think I contributed enough or made enough of a difference… So I too can be an inspirational woman and have an article written about me. 😉
New Rockband Song…
Well… I am not sure how new it is but Ed just told me about a few new songs — two in German and one in French. This is the French one — I like the tempo because I can probably play this on expert. 🙂
Martha Stewart Crepe Paper Flowers
I made my Mom crepe paper flowers for Mother’s Day this year because I figured they will last longer than real flowers (also, I wanted to show off my craftsmanship). I picked up a Crepe Paper Irises Kit and Yellow Crepe Paper Tulips Kit from Michael’s. I got busy on Saturday… I completed 12 flowers in time for Mother’s Day.
I kept tearing the crepe paper because of my impatience as you can see below…
But for the most part, the flower arrangement turned out pretty well and my Mom liked them.
Takeshi Kaneshiro
I think I ❤ him… 😉 I would have to say I have had a crush on him ever since I saw House of Flying Daggers!
He acted in Tau Ming Chong (The Warlords), alongside Jet Li and Andy Lau. I really like this movie. Seems like most Chinese flicks I like all end tragically — so non-American style. Lots of fighting scenes… Lots of dramatic scenes… I am lazy so I do not like to read the subtitles (especially since I read so slow). But since there was so much action, I didn’t have to read as much. I love movies that romanticize friendship and honor, which I believe was a main theme in this film.
Alfa Romero Site…
Beautiful! Alfa Romero 159 | Vivez l’expérience 159 screenshots:
Rollovers above are beautifully lit when you go over each rectangle. There is also a sound that plays.
I love the typography and the colors on each section. They know how to use the big quotation marks, imo.
Nice subtleties added, like a few leaves falling in the background and the street lights glowing big to small.
Rollovers on the yellow text was also nice and clean — gray rectangle underneath on hover.
Animated lightening in the background.
I also enjoyed the photo treatment on the images, like the lense flares.
