Well… I am not sure how new it is but Ed just told me about a few new songs — two in German and one in French. This is the French one — I like the tempo because I can probably play this on expert.

Perfekte Welle (Rock Band Expert Drums 5 stars)

Woo-hoo! New achievement for me! I got a 68% playing the hard mode on drums for Iron Maiden’s “Run To The Hills” and yes, I know… It is not a high score at all. But I passed — I usually die out before getting halfway through. I find that when I play Rockband with my brother Ed or my friend Andrew, I play on harder difficulties and they help me to be a better drummer (because they are so awesome).

Lol at “Unconscious” — Ed said the video game was asking if I was sleeping.

Ok, so not really a big deal, but it is for me. I am living proof that anything is possible with many many hours of practice and lots of focus/concentration.

So the above one isn’t all that impressive — I was so close to getting a score of 100% though! Which I have not yet… and I’m not sure if I could even do it on the easier songs.

Run To The Hills (Rock Band Expert Drums 5 Star)

This guy is so craaazy!!! I wish I could play that well! My brother got Rockband for Christmas and all I have been doing on my winter break from work is playing with it. I broke the kickdrum pedal on the sixth day. My brother duck taped it together so I can keep playing while the replacement arrives… why is this game so addicting??? Anyway, I think Iron Maiden’s “Run to the Hills” is my favorite song to play on Rockband (on the drums). I can only play on the medium level — but it is so much fun! I wish they would make some Guns N Roses songs… and more songs where women are in the bands (I know, not too many bands with women, huh?)
