Rollovers above are beautifully lit when you go over each rectangle. There is also a sound that plays.

I love the typography and the colors on each section. They know how to use the big quotation marks, imo.

Nice subtleties added, like a few leaves falling in the background and the street lights glowing big to small.

Rollovers on the yellow text was also nice and clean — gray rectangle underneath on hover.

Animated lightening in the background.

I also enjoyed the photo treatment on the images, like the lense flares.

It is pretty weird seeing my stuff on other people’s pages. Like, I googled my name a few minutes ago and hit the images and found one of my online portfolio samples on a Chinese site:  http://www.xinoa.cn/design/pingmian/200709/912.html — I think it is a blog site and it deals with design? At least partially? I need to confirm with Amandabot…

Anyway, technology is kinda amazing…

Woo-hoo! New achievement for me! I got a 68% playing the hard mode on drums for Iron Maiden’s “Run To The Hills” and yes, I know… It is not a high score at all. But I passed — I usually die out before getting halfway through. I find that when I play Rockband with my brother Ed or my friend Andrew, I play on harder difficulties and they help me to be a better drummer (because they are so awesome).

Lol at “Unconscious” — Ed said the video game was asking if I was sleeping.

Starbucks Coffee at Home is another beautiful flash site. Amul showed me this one and I forgot to post it… oopsie!

Bee-autiful site I saw from The FWA — Häagen-Dazs – Help the Honey Bees. Below is the honey bee I created — so very cute — I love this kinda stuff!

I don’t care what anyone says… I love Mariah! I like that she is crazy. I like Glitter. I like her diva-ness. I like her songs because they make me happy. I like that she can actually sing. She could scat through one of her songs and it would sound better than 90% of what is on the radio, imo. I am excited for her new album!

I feel like I’ve been on a rollercoaster these past few weeks… And I want to get off already. I guess the best advice I have recieved when asked what I should do, was to “follow my heart” and as cheesey as it may sound, it is actually the best thing one could do for herself. I tried to follow the rules… Do everything in preparation for the future… And I still got stuck dealing with what I have to deal with. I was super nice — I felt taken advantage of. I was honest — I hurt a  few people’s feelings. I just want my life to be fair… All I want is to be happy… So, “Follow your heart” was what Amul told me. And my friend Chris told me I know what I want — I just have to go and do it… I already set things in motion… Now I just have to follow through.

Did you know if you google “follow your heart” you get links to some vegetarian restaurants? Maybe Amul (who is a vegetarian) wants me to turn that way too? There was also a link to this quiz titled, Do You Follow Your Head or Your Heart? Apparently, I follow my heart. Here is what it had to say:
